"It's really starting to blow up." One of the schools showing Blake a lot of attention is Georgia Tech. "Coach (Bryan) Cook has really been recruiting me hard. He wants me to get down to Atlanta to see the campus and facilities." Bone was scheduled to visit for Tech's recruit cookout but couldn't attend due to family obligations. "I'm going to reschedule."
Although he also plays safety, all the schools recruiting Bone like him as a receiver. "My best position is wide receiver."
Bone suffered an ankle injury and has not been able to schedule any summer camps. "I'm just making sure I will be ready for fall practice and my senior year."
The next visit for Bone will be to Kentucky for their "Big Blue Monday" next week. "I'm working with the coaches at my school setting up dates for me to visit schools." Some of the schools recruiting Bone the harest will likely get visits. "South Carolina, Kentucky, Nebraska, Louisville, and Georgia Tech are the ones really hitting me up hard."
Blake hopes to make his college choice by mid-season. "I might even make a decision earlier than that. I just have to see how everything falls." Bone is looking to take some visits before making that decision.
When it comes to deciding on a school, Blake has a good idea of what he'll be looking for in making that decision. "The biggest thing will be that I want to like everything about the school from athletics to academics and student life."
Blake will also be looking at the coaching staffs at each school and he'll be listening to what his family thinks of his options. "I know it will come down to how I feel because I will be the one there for the next four or five years but my family input is important."
