Lewis is Blown Away

Ocean Lakes High School (VA) 2015 recruit Jaason Lewis has received early offers from schools around the country. Saturday he made the trip to Atlanta to visit one of those schools that has already offered.

Jason made the trip to Georgia Tech with his friends, family members and some of his teammates. Tremendous was the word Jaason used to describe the visit. "It really opened my eyes about the school. The campus was much bigger than I imagined it could be and there is so much to do there no matter what you like."

Lewis was hosted on the visit by Coach Joe Speed. "He talked to me about Georgia Tech putting players in the NFL and the value of a degree if the NFL isn't a possibility."

Jaason can play multiple positions and this was part of the discussions he had with Coach Speed. "He said I could have my choice of whichever position was best for me." Lewis could line up at receiver, safety or one of the back positions.

"In looking at their offense, I feel wide receiver or flanker would be best." Jaason feels that with his size, strength, and speed, he would be in a position to put up big numbers in the Tech offense.

The visit was off the charts in Jaason's eyes. "I was blown away by what Georgia Tech has to offer a player."

Lewis doesn't have any other visits planned at the present time but he does know what schools he would like to visit. "I want to visit Tennessee, Miami, Ohio State, Florida State, and UCLA." Jaason would also like to return to Tech for some gameday visits.

Jaason is open to all schools but there are a few that have caught his eye this early in his recruitment. "Tennessee, Miami, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida, UCLA, and now, after this visit, Georgia Tech is right up there with them. Georgia Tech is definitely one of my favorites now."
