Bryan described Fan Day as being great. "I got a chance to meet some of the 2014 recruits and made up my mind to give Coach Johnson and his staff my verbal commitment."
The visit to Tech was not the first for Bryan. He liked what he saw on a previous visit. "The more I got to know about the program and the school, the more I liked Georgia Tech."
Will also got some help from his dad in making the decision. Will's dad did a lot research and he loved what he read. "The school has prestigious academics, a historic football tradition, and they run an offense that really fits my style of play. It just all fell in place and I gave them my commitment."
Bryan was recruited by Georgia Tech Coach Bryan Cook. "The coaches are great there and Coach Cook is a great guy. I love him to death. He is a high energy guy and I bonded well him and the rest of the staff."
The Bryan family's ties to the University of Georgia didn't interfere with his decision. "My dad is first and foremost a Will Bryan fan and now he is a Georgia Tech fan." Will knows that his family wants what is best for him and everything Georgia Tech has to offer is best for him.
The Georgia Tech offense fits in with Will's favorite part of the game. "I am good blocker and I love to run block." The coaches have let Bryan know that he'll likely be a center or tackle. "I am excited about it already."
With 2015 signing day a year and half away, Bryan doesn't feel he'll have to worry about the pressure of schools trying to flip him. "Coach Johnson told me he is very committed to me and I am very committed to Georgia Tech. I will be going to Georgia Tech no matter what. No school will be able to sway me from my commitment."
Now that he is the first commit in the 2015 class, Bryan is looking forward to accepting the role of helping to recruit other players to the class. "Anything I can do to help the coaches at Georgia Tech I will be doing. Getting the best to Georgia Tech will be something I will enjoy doing."
