Andrew's time lately has been spent on the practice field as he and his teammates prepare for their upcoming season. "We got in pads this past Monday. We are a young team but we have the potential to be very good one."
The summer for Andrew also including having a chance to spend some time with his brother Anthony who plays defensive end for Georgia Tech. "We worked out together this summer. It was good working with him."
The two also talked about the new defense at Georgia Tech. "I know he likes it a lot and it is a better fit for him." Anthony also let his brother know that he likes what Coach Ted Roof is doing at Tech. "It will be interesting to see how they come together this year under Coach Roof."
At one time, Andrew felt that the beginning of August might be the time to trim his offer list to five or six schools. "I thought it would be that time but I feel I need to make a couple of more visits. South Carolina is one of the schools that has been showing him a lot of interest and Andrew feels he owes them one more visit.
Andrew has not put together a list of games that he wants to see this season save for one game. "I do know that I will be at Georgia Tech's opener against Elon." Andrew will be there to see his brother's opening game.
The timing for Andrew to trim his list doesn't look to be right around the corner. "It will be after I make these visits and get a feel for which schools I want to keep."
