Luella High School (GA) rising junior Doral Moore may have been a name known only in Georgia prior to the evaluation period. The 2015 center made a name for himself during that period and is now hearing from schools around the country.
"I had a great AAU season." Moore put up some good numbers this summer against some of the better centers in the 2014 class. "I gave them all they could handle. "I felt this AAU season really showed how hard I have worked." Moore is now 7' and weighs 225.
The offers are starting to come in for Moore. "I picked up two new offers these past two weeks." Moore was offered by Texas and Ohio State. Georgia Tech and Kansas are two other schools showing him strong interest.
"I think Georgia Tech may have offered. They have talked to my dad and all my offers go through him." Moore feels it would be great if Georgia Tech has offered. "It is an honor to get any offer and I will consider all of them especially from programs like Georgia Tech."
Doral feels he needs to start visiting schools to get an idea of what the programs are like. "I want to see which school is the best fit for me."
Some of the other schools showing interest in Moore are Mississippi State, Cincinnati, and Georgia. Illinois and Indiana are two other schools that have offered. "I feel my recruitment is picking up just like my AAU season did."
Moore will not be in a hurry to make his decision. "Right now I feel that I will be signing in the late period. I want to get in as many visits as I can with my dad." Doral's dad will be setting up the visits and making the visits with his son.
