Callaway, Georgia outside linebacker KeShun Freeman gave his verbal commit to Georgia Tech in early June. Since then, Freeman has been working with his fellow commits to get other recruits to join the class.
Freeman is excited to be a Georgia Tech commit. "I talk to everyone about how great a school Georgia Tech is and how I feel this class we have coming in will be a special one."
Many of the recruits in the class have stayed in touch with each other since committing to Georgia Tech. They are all excited about the class. "Tre Jackson, Lance Austin, and Lawrence Austin and I are really close. Plus, through the Austin twins, I have gotten to know Qua Searcy real well too."
Georgia Tech fans may have a chance to see Freeman on campus before signing day. "Right now there are five of us that plan to enroll early." Stepheny Durham, Matthew Jordan, Tre Jackson, and Terrell Lewis are the other four that plan to enroll early along with KeShun.
"We all want to come in, get started at the next level, and get ready for spring ball. I am real excited about this." Freeman doesn't feel that he is taking things too fast. "I am looking forward to getting to Georgia Tech. It is a special school with great academics and great football. Man I am pumped."
Since he's given Tech his verbal commit, Freeman has been talking to other recruits about joining him in the class. "I talk to Andrew Williams and Myles Autry and I have really been working my teammate Tez Parks."
KeShun has been talking to Parks about how great it would if he joined him at Tech. "I really hope he can come in with me." KeShun feels that Parks has been warming up to the idea of joining him.
The recent Georgia Tech Fan Day was an opportunity for KeShun to get together with some of his future teammates. "I was walking around and this one recruit walked up behind me and the shadow looked like a full grown man." The recruit was Trey Klock. "Our group got together and took a picture to commemorate the event.
