Following his summer success, Freddie has been enjoying the recruiting process. "Not many people get a chance to play a sport and get their education paid for at the same time. I'm being serious about it but enjoying it at the same time."
Louisiana-Layfette, Kentucky, and Purdue are three new schools that have offered Freddie in the past week. "The Purdue coach said they are very interested in me and will be watching me closely this fall."
Georgia Tech is one of the schools that has been recruiting Booth-Lloyd. Freddie has been keeping in touch with Tech Coach Mike Sewak. "They have turned up the heat on my recruitment as of late."
A decision has still not been made on which side of the ball Freddie will play. "The last time I talked with Coach Sewak, he said that they like me as both an offensive and a defensive lineman. I told him I didn't care that if I came to Georgia Tech, I'd play wherever they wanted me to play."
There are a few factors about Tech that are attractive to Freddie. "They are close enough to home for my family to come see me play and man it is in downtown Atlanta. I like that a lot." Freddie likes the city feel.
Freddie has only scheduled one visit during his senior season. "I want to make sure my last year of high school football is the best it can be." Booth-Lloyd plans to take an official visit to Tulane during the bye week of his season.
Georgia Tech, UMass, South Alabama, and LSU will get the other four schools that will get official visits from Booth-Lloyd. "Once the season is over and I have made my visits, I will make my decision."
