"My parents and I had a great time and really enjoyed the visit." Andrew's parents were impressed with what they saw on the visit. "My mom and dad really loved the academic side of things."
The Marshalls first met with the academic people when they arrived on campus. "They talked us through what a typical day would be for a student-athlete. It was what I expected. It is hard but worth what you will get from a Georgia Tech degree."
Following their meeting with the academic people, Andrew and his parents met with Coach Paul Johnson and Coach Mike Sewak. "What I loved about the talk was they told me they really wanted me at Georgia Tech but did not try to pressure me into committing. I really respected that."
A tour of the facilities was next for the Marshalls. "We saw all of the football facilities and checked out the dorms."
Andrew didn't have any thoughts of committing on the visit. "I want to stick to plan of making sure of everything, making some more visits to other schools, and to come back to a Georgia Tech game." Andrew is thinking about returning for the game against North Carolina.
West Forsyth plays Gainesville this Friday evening so he doubts that he'll be returning for the Elon game. "I think I'd rather wait until I have a game or two of my season under my belt." West Forsyth opens with three non-regional games followed by seven straight regional games. "We want to be regional champs."
