Jackson described the visit as "great". "I got to see all of the school and not just the basketball end of things." Tadric did tour the basketball facilities, watched the team practice, and talked with the coaches.
The one facility that impressed Jackson the most was the new arena. "You come in and see all of the past glory at Georgia Tech and then you realize you are going to be a part of it. If that doesn't get you pumped, I don't know what to say." Tadric is ready for June 1st to get here so that he can begin his college career.
When he begins his career at Tech, Tadric will have a chance to play with his cousin (Chris Bolden). Bolden played a role in Tadric's recruitment. "(Laughing) It will be great to play along side him at Tech."
Besides touring the campus and facilities, Tadric also had a look at the academic side of things. Watching the football game was also a part of the visit. "The game was a good one and the crowd was great. Georgia Tech is going to be a great place for me."
The coaching staff at Tech was one of the important factors in Tadric's decision. "Man, I love all of them. They are all cool and really know their basketball." Jackson feels the staff will get the best out of him while he's at Tech.
Tadric has talked to the coaches about their plans for him. "Coach (Brian) Gregory has told me that he will be using me as a combo guard. I'll get minutes at both the point and two guard spots."
