Gibsonville, North Carolina and Eastern Guliford High School standout Jarius Morehead is drawing attention from schools on both sides of the ball. Morehead's offer list now stands at seven.

The three latest schools to offer Jarius are Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest.

Clemson likes Jarius at receiver. "They love my film and say I could be a difference maker at that position."

The story is different at Georgia Tech. They are looking at Jarius as a safety. "I talk to Coach (Bryan) Cook a lot and he tells me the staff wants me to come in and be a be part of their secondary." At 6'2"-180 and running a 4.6 forty, Jarius has all the tools to make an impact at safety. "They love my film."

Morehead is the lone safety in the 2015 class to receive an offer from Wake. "They feel I am a great player and really want me there. They say they need me there."

Jarius also has other schools recruiting him as a receiver besides Clemson. "Of all the schools that have offered me and the ones that haven't, safety is the position I am being looked at the most." Jarius feels that safety is his best position but he will play wherever needed.

Visits to the schools that have offered have not been planned yet. "A lot depends on whether or not my mom can come so we have to wait and see if she can go."

Jarius does know, however, of a few visits he'll take for Junior Days. "Two schools I know I will go to are Virginia Tech and Florida and I'd like to go to Georgia Tech and Tennessee." Those visits will depend on his mom being able to go with him.

Morehead is aware of the possibility of being injured and is looking for a school that will give him a good education. "Injuries can ruin your chance for a NFL shot." Jarius is also looking for a stable coaching staff. The campus life won't be a factor for Jarius in making his decision. "I'm the type of person that can figure out how to fit in wherever I go to college." Top Stories
