The visit was both fun and informative for Jordan. "We talked about their plans for me." Matthew will be enrolling early and will be able to practice in the spring. " Both coaches said my playing time will depend on how fast I grasp the offense."

A red shirt is a possibility for Matthew and that would be okay with him. Matthew will be going in with the mindset that he is going to compete for playing time. "I like that while the offense is run first, Coach Johnson showed from the Georgia game, he will take what the defense gives him."

Jordan is not one to shy away from contact. "I'll run over a guy. I like to hit so I can take what they give and give it right back." Matthew also feels he can get the job done throwing the ball.

On the visit Thursday, Matthew also talked to the coaches about his possible roommates. "I might be rooming with two of the other early enrollees; KeShun Freeman and Step Durham. Tyler Merriweather, also might be a roomie." Jordan also learned that Travis Custis will be rooming with the guys he was supposed to room with this past fall. Jordan asked for and will be wearing number 11 when he enrolls at Tech.

Matthew will be taking the trip to Atlanta next weekend for his official visit. "I can't wait to get to Atlanta and start my career at Georgia Tech." Jordan will begin his career on the Flats January 5th. Top Stories
