Five For Fullwood

2015 Olney (MD) Good Counsel defensive end Darius Fullwood has decided on five schools that top his list of favorites.

2015 Olney (MD) Good Counsel defensive end Darius Fullwood already holds several offers for a high school junior. The three-star prospect plays for a powerhouse program in high school but has emerged as a talent the top schools in the nation have their eye on.

Fullwood believes three more scholarship offers could be headed his way.

"I think Nebraska, Rutgers, and Vanderbilt could be next to offer," said Fullwood. "My recruitment was really fast paced until this break hit. It will probably take off again after the holidays."

Georgia Tech is a school that Fullwood has already been offered by and taken a visit to. The Maryland star is serious about the Yellow Jackets.

"I have been staying in contact with Coach Pehrson at least 3 times a week," he pointed out. "He is a real good dude. I like the constant contact we have had and that's why they are one of my top schools."

"The county I live in near Washington, D.C. is a lot like Atlanta," Fullwood added. "I love that about Georgia Tech. It's a lot like home."

As he alluded to, Fullwood informed Scout that he has a few favorite schools right now that top his list.

"I have a top 5 in no particular order of Penn State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, and Kentucky," said Fullwood. "Those are the schools that I get along with the best and have the most comfort with right now. I'm not entirely sure when my next visits will be. I plan on committing somewhere in May so it will all be done soon." Top Stories
