GT offers E.J. Price

2016 Lawrenceville (GA) Central Gwinnett offensive tackle E.J. Price discusses his newest offer from the Yellow Jackets. The sophomore prospect has hit the national recruiting scene in a big way already.

Lawrenceville (GA) Central Gwinnett E.J. Price continues to rake in several offers, especially for a high school sophomore. The in-state schools have also jumped in for Price with Georgia and Georgia Tech both throwing a scholarship his way.

Price talked about the Yellow Jackets.

"They actually have a lot of pride in their academics and I like that," he stated. "Georgia Tech degrees go a long way in careers outside of football. They also have a great fan base and a beautiful stadium. Their football program is amazing but they have a great academic program as well and that's what I'm looking for in a college as well. I want the overall package in a school."

The sophomore offensive tackle will be visiting Atlanta to get a look at the Yellow Jackets program next month.

"Ted Roof and my coach have set up a trip to get me to Georgia Tech for a visit," Price mentioned. "The Georgia Tech campus is only about 30 or 35 minutes away from where I live. I'm interested to see how it is out there. I'm supposed to be going there sometime in January."

The next elite Gwinnett County prospect discussed his goals of the visit and his interest in seeing what Georgia Tech had to offer.

"People think I'm a lock to go to Georgia Tech because it is so close but it's not like that," he continued. "I just want to check it out and see how it is. I'm open to all schools and it's just another great school I have the opportunity to consider. I've never been to a major university to visit. I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like. I'm not looking for anything specific and just going for the experience. Once I get a few visits under my belt I will know more what to look for and know what questions to ask." Top Stories
