Ocoee, Florida outside linebacker Terrell Lewis took his official visit to Georgia Tech along with eight other commits plus another player that has opened up his recruitment. Terrell and his family made the drive to Atlanta for a visit that they described as great.

Terrell's parents as well as his 13 year old brother and his grandfather accompanied Lewis on the trip. "My mom really loved her time there and left knowing I will be in a good place for the next four to five years." Lewis' mom saw that the coaches have the best interests of the players in mind.

Another family member that really enjoyed the trip was Terrell's brother. "Man, he really loved his time there. He was eating up everything." The younger Lewis is getting ready to start his football career and is already as big as Terrell. "Maybe he can follow me to Georgia Tech when his time comes."

Lewis was hosted on the trip by Georgia Tech A Back Deon Hill. Terrell got re-acquainted with the players committed to Georgia Tech and got to know more of the current players. "We all hit it off great. Everyone was making sure we had a good time."

Defensive tackle recruit Michael Sawyers was someone that Terrell also got to meet. "I really worked him hard to come to Georgia Tech." Terrell let Sawyers know that he would be the type of player that would make the 2014 class complete. "I told him we needed him because we are trying to do something special at Georgia Tech."

Terrell described his time with the commits and players as just like having fun with his friends back home. "I can't say it enough how great of a time we had at Georgia Tech."

When asked about rankings and stars, Lewis said that he doesn't pay attention to those things. Lewis pointed out that his school is small and doesn't get the attention as much as other schools ‘I do know that when I go up against five star players, I more than hold my own. I know the services measure what they can but but you can't measure heart, want, desire to win in a player and that is very important."

Coach Ted Roof and the Tech staff love the versatility and speed they see in Lewis. Terrell is looking to work hard on his conditioning before he returns to Tech. "I'll be ready when I get to Georgia Tech in June."

Lewis will be faxing his letter of intent as soon as he arrives at school on signing day. His school will also have a signing day ceremony.
