Georgia Tech defensive end commit Antonio Simmons took his official visit to Atlanta this past weekend. The three-star prospect from Jacksonville spent the weekend at Georgia Tech with many other Yellow Jacket pledges.
He thoroughly enjoyed his time at his future home.
"I loved it," Simmons said. "It was a great experience. I can't wait until I get up there and start working."
The coaching staff at Georgia Tech feels the same way, according to Simmons.
"They can't wait to get me up there," he told Scout. "The coaches and I are both excited to get started."
Recruiting is the name of the game and the Yellow Jacket commits took part in it this past weekend, helping to lure in the available recruits that have yet to make a college choice.
"I really liked hanging out with the players," Simmons noted. "I got to hang out with the other commits, too. We included Michael Sawyers in it also and we were trying to get him on board."
There had been rumors starting up about Simmons possibly taking other trips and he spoke on the record about it.
"I will not be taking any other visits."
