2015 Atlanta (GA) Dunwoody prospect Riley Gessner was offered by Georgia Tech a few weeks ago, his first scholarship offer of his process. It did not take him long to acquaint himself with the program as he was on campus yesterday.
"I visited Georgia Tech this weekend," confirmed Gessner.
The Yellow Jackets are recruiting Gessner as an offensive tackle. His first visit to Georgia Tech as a recruited prospect went very well.
"It was incredible," he admitted. "I was surprised by everything. The facilities were super nice and the coaches all had great things to say."
Gessner discussed his interaction with the Georgia Tech coaches.
"They all said that they were glad that I was there," he said. "They heard great things about me and want me to play with the Jackets."
The junior from Atlanta has a few other visits already scheduled, including a return trip to see the Yellow Jacket campus.
"I'm visiting Boston College on February 16 and I will be back at Georgia Tech on February 22 for their junior day," Gessner stated. "I also hope to visit Wake Forest, Duke, Vanderbilt, Florida, and North Carolina."
