Davis Collecting Offers

2015 Stockbridge (GA) defensive end Titus Davis discusses his two newest offers from Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech. He has a planned trip to see the Yellow Jackets in a couple of weeks.

2015 Stockbridge (GA) defensive end Titus Davis has begun to hit the recruiting radar. He was sitting on zero offers but Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech have thrown their hat in the ring. Ole Miss and Missouri have also offered.

Davis is also hearing from Clemson, Florida State, Michigan State, and North Carolina.

The three-star junior commented on his newest offers from the Yellow Jackets and Hokies.

"Coach Speed of Georgia Tech offered me," Davis said. "He's a good guy and a friend of mine. We talk regularly. It's a great school and a great team. It has my academic interest too."

"I want to major in engineering so Virginia Tech has my major too," he added. "It's also a great school. I was actually a Hokies fan growing up. I haven't talked to their staff any about visiting yet but it's a place I'm sure I will check out at some point."

Davis has already discussed a visit with the Georgia Tech staff and has one set up for the junior day in a couple of weeks.

"I'm going to a junior day at Georgia Tech on February 22," he noted. "I've already been to Georgia Tech a couple of times. My dad was an ACC referee so he had some games he worked at Georgia Tech and I'd go there with them.

"I grew up in the state so I like Georgia Tech," Davis continued. "It's a fun school with a fun stadium. It's a great environment to play in. I played in Bobby Dodd Stadium when I was a kid."

The 6-foot-4, 237 pound defensive end will not be a prospect that makes a quick decision. He's hoping to take his time with his recruitment.

"I want to ride out the process a bit," Davis told Scout. "It's still early for me. I'll weigh my options and then decide on a school after I have done that."
