The latest offer for Hartsfield came from Georgia Tech. Coach Bryan Cook called Myles' coach and when he returned the call he received the offer. "Coach Cook talked to me about what Georgia Tech could do for me as a student and as an athlete and then extended an offer to me."
Hartsfield was excited to get the offer. His aunt graduated from Georgia Tech and he has family in Georgia. "I know she probably already knows, but when I call her and to let her know Georgia Tech offered me a full scholarship, she will go crazy."
Myles has the size and speed that Tech is looking for at the A Back position. Myles is 6'-190 and has been timed at 4.36 in the forty. "Coach Cook said that I have the size, look, and abilities to be one of the best A Backs under Coach (Paul) Johnson."
The offer from Tech puts them high on Myles' list of favorites. "I love the enthusiasm of Coach Cook and the way he presented playing at Georgia Tech to me. I will be taking a very serious look at them in my recruitment."
Hartsfield describes himself as an academic person who wants a good education. He will also be looking for a family atmosphere when making his choice. One thing that will not be a problem for Myles is distance. "I have a lot family in the Atlanta area and my sister goes to North Carolina, so that's not a problem."
A visit to Atlanta to watch Tech practice in the spring is in the works. "I may also come down on my spring break and see the school and tour the campus."
Georgia Tech recently offered B Back Dontae Strickland. He and Myles are good friends. The two have talked about the possibility of playing their college ball together. "We would love to play on the same team but we understand that sometimes things do not go the way you want them to go and we could see each other lined up against one another on different teams."
