No Time Table for Green

Toledo, Ohio Central Catholic High School middle linebacker Chris Green has seen the momentum in his recruitment pick up over the past week. The 2015 recruit picked up his tenth offer on Tuesday. The offer coming from Georgia Tech.

Green made a call to Tech Coach Dave Walkosky and received the offer while talking to Coach Walkosky. " He told me that the staff has been looking at my film and really like the way I play. He said he wanted to extend me an offer." The offer came as a surprise to Green and Chris is now interested in finding out more about the school.

Coach Walkosky let Green know that they are looking for good middle linebackers. "I am very interested. He felt that I could be a very good one for them." A visit to Tech would have to come in the summer. "I am concentrating on making visits this spring to schools that are pretty close by and are easy visits to make."

Chris had scheduled a visit to Illinois but participated in a wrestling tournament the weekend of the scheduled visit. "I'd like to get over and visit them." Big 10 schools Indiana and Penn State are other schools that Chris and his parents are looking at for visits.

Green feels that Illinois is the school that is recruiting him the hardest at the present time. Penn State is another school that Chris mentioned as recruiting him but that was under the previous staff. "They had me over for the Michigan game last season and really treated me like I was part of the team. I haven't had much of a chance to talk to the new staff." Boston College is another school showing strong interest in Green.

A time frame for making a decision is not in the works for Chris. "I want to take my time and see some schools and see how it feels when I am at the school." Chris feels he'll know the right school when it comes along. Top Stories
