The latest offers for Nick are from UAB and Virginia. He also has several other schools that have increased their interest. "I really feel that Georgia Tech, Duke, and Virginia are ones that are recruiting me very hard right now. California, Tennessee, and North Carolina State are also showing a lot of interest in Nick.

The focus for Nick will be mainly on schools that are within a five hour drive. "When my parents and I talk about it, they say they would love for me to stay as close to home as possible. If I went on a visit to a school that wasn't close to home, and I felt it was the right school, they wouldn't hold me back from choosing that school. They know it has to be my decision."

Georgia Tech is one of the schools that Nick likes a lot. "My parents really want me to get a great education and they like it even more that Tech is close to home." Nick has established a good relationship with the Tech coaches. "I know that they really want me there and that is something that will be a factor for me in choosing a school."

Nick is looking to visit as many schools a possible this spring. He hopes to make his decision after he visits those schools. "I want to have my decision made by the end of the spring."

Polino recently visited Duke and North Carolina State. "I will also visit Georgia Tech for spring practice. Hopefully it will be the first practice or one real soon." Nick also plans to attend the Tech spring game.

When Nick makes his early decision, it will shut down his recruitment. "I'm not one of these types that commits to hold a spot or flips later after making a commitment. Once I give my word that I am coming to a school, it is as good as me signing my name on a piece of paper in February."
