Cameron Stewart Visits GT, Plans To Return

Shiloh High School (GA) wide receiver Cameron Stewart made a return visit to Georgia Tech today. Cam returned to get a full tour of the campus and to watch the Monday practice.

Shiloh High School (GA) wide receiver Cameron Stewart made a return visit to Georgia Tech today. Cam returned to get a full tour of the campus and to watch the Monday practice.

Stewart was glad that he was able to watch the team practice and he was impressed with the indoor practice facility. "It's nice to have a facility like that to practice in despite the heavy rain."

A tour of the other football facilities was also part of the visit for Cam. Stewart got to see the locker room and he got a look at what the weight room will look like after the remodel is finished. "It will be very nice when they are done."

After practice, Cam spent some time with Coach Paul Johnson, Coach Ted Roof and Coach Buzz Preston. Stewart spent most of his time with Coach Roof. "They really want me there at Georgia Tech and it feels good to know that they feel that way about me."

Coach Johnson let Cam know that they had watched his film about twelve times. "He said each time they watched they felt better and better about me." Coach Johnson also let Cam know that he wanted him at Georgia Tech. "He mentioned that they would love to have me commit to them when I am ready. I told them that by the end of the summer I will have a decision made and that they would be definitely in there. I really like the coaches a t Georgia Tech."

Stewart likes a lot of the schools that have offered but his top three schools are Georgia Tech, Central Florida, and Pittsburgh.

This coming Wednesday, Cam will be visiting Central Florida to meet with Coach George O'Leary and his staff. "On the 18th of April I will be coming back to Georgia Tech for their spring game."

In addition to his top three, Cam is also starting to hear more from from Kentucky, North Carolina State, Boston College, Tennessee, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Arizona."

Cam is sure that he will have a decision by the end of the summer. "I have a good feeling about the schools I like and I want to have my senior year to enjoy my last year at Shiloh."
