"I talked to TCU's head coach on Twitter, and he's supposed to get me an offer. I got a couple of new followers that are Ole Miss coaches and they're supposed to be offering, too."
Texas Tech, which pulled the trigger in late February, is the current leader.
"Texas Tech is my top school," Scott informed. "It's them and Arizona State and Nebraska. I just like how Texas Tech is bringing in new young guys at the top of the boards.
"I feel like they're going to have a good recruiting class, and I would be a good fit if I decide to commit. I hear Arizona State's facilities and locker room and everything's great there. I like how their coaches are real cool with my coaches."
Scott said Nebraska is determined to give Texas Tech a battle.
"I was chopping it up on the phone with Coach (Rich) Fisher," he said of Nebraska's wide receivers coach. "He asked who my top schools are, and said he wants to change things to get Nebraska number one.
"One thing I like about Nebraska is that I've never heard any bad things about their school. I haven't heard any thing about their players being in trouble or any losing streaks. I looked at how their recruiting class is ranked and it's number eight. It's a cool spot."
Scott and four-star 2016 defensive lineman Glen Logan sparked Destrehan's run to the 2013 Class 5A semifinals. The Wildcats were ranked in the Scout Top 50 during a stint and only lost to eventual state champ Acadiana.
