Jeremy and his teammates at Shiloh have just completed a successful track season. Shiloh won the state title and Jeremy won the triple jump, 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and ran a leg of the winning 4 x 100 relay team. "I love running track and want to do both football and track in college."

The latest football offers for Jeremy come from Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and South Carolina. McDuffie has also recently heard from Miami for track and Duke for both sports.

Georgia Tech Coach Ted Roof was at a recent Shiloh practice and let Jeremy's coach know that McDuffie had an offer from Tech. Jeremy was also invited and plans to visit Tech in June. "I was up there for their Junior Day and really enjoyed it. Coach Roof is a real cool guy and I know I can learn a lot from him."

The offer from Tech was one that Jeremy had hoped to get. "Being a great state school and the quality education I could get is something I like a lot." Jeremy has also noticed the success that Tech track athletes have had over the years including the Olympics. "That is a big plus for me."

In addition to his planned visit to Georgia Tech, look for McDuffie to visit Tennessee on June 21st. Those two schools and Illinois are the current favorites for McDuffie. "Boston College is recruiting me the hardest at this point and I do have family up there but I like these three schools the best right now."

Jeremy's focus now is to get a football scholarship. "I want to play football and run track. Football is what will get me to college and track is something I will do after the season is over." Top Stories
