Dorman High School (SC) receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has seen his offer list grow in the last few weeks. The talented wide receiver is looking to take some visits to help make his college choice.

The latest offers for J.J. have come from Pittsburgh and Virginia. Arcega-Whiteside now has 15 offers.

Some of those schools will be getting visits from J.J this summer. "I just got off the phone with Coach (Bryan) Cook from Georgia Tech. Coach Cook and J.J. talked about setting up a time to visit in June. Arcega-Whiteside is looking to visit around the 5th of June.

One of the attractions to Tech for J.J. is his relationship with Tech coaches Bryan Cook and Buzz Preston. "I know in the offense they run you become a complete player." In J.J.'s eyes the Tech offense is not hurting their chances to get his commit. "They are one school I do like a lot."

Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Virginia, and Wake Forest are the schools that are recruiting Arcega-Whiteside the hardest at the present time.

When it comes to playing in a particular conference, J.J. has a few in mind. "I'd prefer to stay in the ACC, Big 10, or the SEC. J.J. hopes to make his decision before he starts his senior year.

That decision will be based on educational opportunities and being able to feel comfortable at the school he chooses. Arcega-Whiteside's mom will also have a role in the decision. "If my mom likes the school and the staff, it will play a role in my decision. I want her to be comfortable with my choice."

After his visit to Georgia Tech, J.J. will play in a few 7 on 7 tournaments and then camp at Clemson or South Carolina.
