Profile _ Almonzo Brown
North Gwinnett (Georgia) receiver Almonzo Brown recently visited Georgia Tech to look at the educational side of things. Brown talks about the visit and a few other visits he plans to take this summer.
Almonzo is happy with the way things are going with his recruitment and he plans to take some additional visits this summer. Minnesota is one of the schools he plans to visit. That visit will take place in the next few weeks. "I also plan to visit Southern Miss, Southern Cal, and in July I will visit Central Florida."
The most recent visit for Brown was to Georgia Tech. Brown liked what he learned on the visit. Almonzo wants to major in biology and got to see what that would be like including how long it would take him to graduate. "It was a very informing trip that I liked a lot."
Brown also spent time with Coach Ted Roof. "He is a great guy. He can relate to the players." Brown's relationship with Coach Roof is a plus for Georgia Tech. Almonzo plans to return to Tech this summer and he will also be taking an official visit there.
There are three schools that Brown feels are recruiting him the hardest. "I have to say hats off to Georgia Tech, Kansas State, and Minnesota. They really show me a lot of attention. They do an excellent job."
Almonzo still wants to take all his visits before he makes his college choice. "I want to get a great feel for all the schools." Brown is looking for a school with a family environment. He is not taking the decision lightly. "I will make every effort to make sure I make the right decision the first time around."
