Profile - TaQuon Marshall
Harris County High School (GA) athlete TaQuon Marshall is getting to the point in his recruitment where he's beginning to focus on a small group of schools. Those schools will soon be getting visits from Marshall.
Marshall has a good idea of which schools he likes but is not ready to name that list right now. "I am still looking at some schools and I want to be open minded about them in order to get a list that I can pick the best school for myself."
All four of those schools will be getting visits from Marshall this summer. Those visits will take place in July following the end of the dead period. "I will make a swing through Duke, Wake Forest, and North Carolina State. Either on the way up there or on the way back, I will stop at Georgia Tech."
TaQuon camped at Duke, North Carolina State, and Wake Forest in June. "They worked me at defensive back." Marshall also visited Appalachian State for their camp but didn't workout.
The schools recruiting Marshall like him as an athlete with his ability to play multiple positions. Even though he worked as a corner at Duke they told Marshall he could also play receiver. "I know Georgia Tech says they like me as an A-back."
Marshall feels he's better as a running back. "I really feel I'm better with the ball in my hands but I'll play where my team needs me."
We could see TaQuon naming his top schools sometime in July. Marshall also plans to make a decision before school starts. "If I don't do that, then I will take official visits to the schools that I like the best."
