Over 20 schools have offered Brandon Sandifer. He was identified early by many schools and he has consistently been picking up scholarship offers over the past year.
He has been busy on the road this summer and he has already visited Alabama, Florida, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He participated in camps at Alabama, Florida, and North Carolina.
Two of the five schools Sandifer saw in June are moving up and have cemented their place on his list that will be released soon.
"Alabama and South Carolina are the top two," said Sandifer. "They are going to be on the list. I am trying to get it down to five and I hope to have that in the next three to four weeks.
"I am really open right now, but I will have it down real soon."
A decision for the 6-foot-4, 330 pound senior offensive guard out of Warner Robins (Ga.) Northside does not plan to make a decision until the fall.
It should happen around the middle of the season.
"I will probably be committed by the middle of October. I think I will definitely be ready by then."
Right now, Florida, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina are recruiting the hardest according to Sandifer. He will not be on the road as much in July as he was in June, but he will likely be back in Columbia, S.C. once again. He has already visited the Gamecocks twice.
Between now and the time the three-star commits, he will be looking for the environment that fits him best.
"I am looking for good teammates to play around, I want friendly coaches and people at the school, and just a good place to live and play football at," said Sandifer.
