Henderson Has Three That Stand Out

Lake Wales High School (FL) running back Justin Henderson has three schools that stand out in his recruitment. Following the dead period, Henderson is looking to visit one of those schools.

Henderson and a few of his teammates will be visiting Kentucky on the 16th. On their way back to Florida, they will be stopping in Atlanta to visit Georgia Tech.

The three schools standing out to Henderson, at this time, are Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Michigan State, and Notre Dame would make it four if they start recruiting him..

“Coach (Mike) Pelton at Georgia Tech says that he really likes me as a running back.” Coach Pelton has talked to Henderson about how he would fit into their offense. “I really do like the offense and feel I could be a good fit for them.” Henderson has an uncle living in the area and sees that as a plus.

Henderson also feels that he would also be a good fit in the Cincinnati offense. But, he isn't too sure about the weather. “If I went to Cincinnati, it would be something to see snow as i have never seen it. I would have to get used to that.”

Justin currently has five offers. "I have offers from Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Florida International, Ball State, and Toledo." Michigan State is one of Henderson’s favorites but they haven’t offered. Notre Dame is another school that Justin hopes will start recruiting him.

There is no rush for Henderson to make a decision. "My recruitment is really picking up and this dead period really makes it difficult to see schools that are really showing interest or have shown interest for the first time.”

How he fits in a school’s offense will be one of the main factors for Justin when he looks at the schools recruiting him. “I also value academics.”
