Brandon, his mom, dad, grandmother, brother, and a teammate made the trip up I-75 to visit Georgia Tech Wednesday. “We all enjoyed the trip and what Georgia Tech has to offer."

The campus and the facilities made a big impression on Brandon. "It was much different than I thought it would be. That was a good thing.” Sandifer got a complete tour of the campus. He was especially impressed with the player’s lounge and the campus recreation center. “Georgia Tech has a lot of nice facilities.”

Sandifer’s parents also loved the visit. "They like the campus and really love the academics and what a degree from Georgia Tech means."

Brandon toured the campus with Coach Preston Pehrson.”He is a great guy." Sandifer also talked with Coaches Mike Sewak and Ray Rychleski. “They told me I was at the top of their board for the last remaining offensive line spot.”

Georgia Tech is looking at Sandifer to play the guard position on their offensive line. “I play tackle at Northside but I can see why they want me as a guard.” Brandon is 6'4"-330 which fits the mold for what Tech is looking for in their guards.

The visit went a long ways towards making Tech one of the favorites in Sandifer’s eyes. "I have a few more visits to make this summer and then I'll probably decide on a top five in about a month."

Brandon will be visiting Georgia this Friday, Florida on the 25th, and South Carolina. Brandon hopes to take a few official visits before making a decision. “It all depends on how everything goes.” Top Stories
