Saint-Amour Ready to Focus on Senior Season

North Gwinnett High School (GA) defensive end Anree Saint-Amour is narrowing down his list of offers. Anree has five schools that stand out to him right now. Three of those schools are showing Anree the most interest.

Most of the schools interested in Saint-Amour have already offered and he is looking forward to making his decision. “Recruiting has become a big hassle.” Anree said that the coaches recruiting him have been great but he is ready to focus on his upcoming season.

At the present time, Saint-Amour feels that Georgia Tech, Iowa, and Ohio State are recruiting him the hardest. Coach Ted Roof from Georgia Tech, Coach LeVar Woods from Iowa, and Coach Mark Pantoni from Ohio State are the three recruiting Anree the hardest.

“Coach Roof tells me I can come in and be a leader and impact player. Coach Woods tells me I’d be a perfect fit for their defensive scheme, and Coach Pantoni tells me that I hard work and I would be a great addition.”

In addition to Georgia Tech, Iowa, and Ohio State, Saint-Amour also has Missouri and Michigan State in his top five. Saint-Amour’s choice from that top five could come at any time. He doesn’t have a timetable at this time. "To be honest, if I feel comfortable with the team I have in mind and it feels right to make my decision, I could do it.”

There is also the possibility that Anree could visit one or two of those schools before going back to school on August 6th. "If I do, it will be to Georgia Tech and/or Ohio State.” If Saint-Amour doesn’t make those visits, he will likely take some visits during the season to experience game day.

If Anree makes his decision prior to taking any official visits, he will only take an official visit to the school he chooses. Top Stories
