Profile - Bilal Ally
Green Cove Spring, Florida running back Bilal Ally recently left the state of Florida for a weekday visit. The 2016 Clay High School recruit was offered on the visit and came away impressed with the school and the coaches.
Ally described the visit to Georgia Tech as the best one he’s been on thus far. The campus, the facilities and the city of Atlanta all caught the eye of Bilal. “It was a great experience all around for me."
Georgia Tech coaches Lamar Owens and Joe Hamilton met Bilal when he arrived on campus Friday morning. Coach Owens let Ally know that he liked him as an A Back in their offense. “He likes my speed, my running ability and the way I can also catch the ball.”
Bilal enjoyed his time with Coach Hamilton. “I really enjoyed talking with him. He's a great guy and comes across as a very humble person.” Bilal was impressed that he was so down to earth for someone going into the College Hall of Fame. “You can tell how much he loves Georgia Tech and knows everything about the school."
Ally wants to major in pre-law and got to see how he could accomplish that. He was impressed with the high academic standards at Tech. “I love the fact that Coach (Paul) Johnson personally cares and pushes you to get your degree.”
The visit to Tech left Ally liking everything about Tech. "I'll be honest. They are my number one school. I can really see myself suiting up in the white and gold." Bilal probably won’t make his college choice until after his junior season. "I got a great feel of where I want to go but I want to handle it right."
