Kawon Bryant Looking For More Offers

Georgia Tech has recruited North Oconee High school very hard the past few years. This year is no different. North Oconee top running back Kawon Bryant is the latest player to draw the interest of the Georgia Tech coaching staff.

Profile - Kawon Bryant

North Oconee High School (GA) running back Kawon Bryant has four offers and another school is continuing to show a lot of interest in Bryant. Could an offer from that school be coming soon?

The most recent offer from the pre-season all-state recruit was from Kennesaw State. Bryant also has offers from Central Arkansas, Georgia State, and Cincinnati.

Georgia Tech is the school that is now showing a lot of interest in Kawon. "They are really turning up the heat. It feels good to know that more and more schools are noticing me now.” Kawon’s spring practices and his camp appearances have led to the interest from new schools.

Kawon keeps in touch with Georgia Tech Coach Mike Sewak. Coach Sewak has let Bryant know that they like what they see from him. “He said that is was very likely I would have had an offer already but I need to better my test scores before he can extend one."

Bryant is 5’9”-209. Tech feels he would be a good fit at the A Back position in their offense. “I actually would love to play that role to be honest." Bryant will line up at both running back and in the slot for North Oconee this upcoming season.

An offer from Tech would move them to the top of his list. “I won't go out and say I'd commit on the spot but it would be an offer I would look at very hard.”

Getting a good education, early playing time, and his comfort level with the school, players, and coaches are all things Bryant will be looking at in making his decision.

A return visit to Tech is in the plans for Kawon. "I just need to look at my schedule and see which games fit me the best.”

Kawon doesn’t want to name a list of favorites nor has he set a decision date. “I plan to stay that way until I feel I have all the offers I am going to get and feel comfortable with my decision.”
