Thomas Still on Schedule for Decision

Buford, Georgia running back Joshua Thomas and his teammates had a bye week last week after getting off to a 3-0 start. Thomas spent the week looking at the depth charts of his three remaining schools.

Georgia Tech, Missouri, and Tennessee are the three schools getting the attention of Joshua. In addition to the depth charts, Thomas is also looking at what those schools have to offer in his major as well as his relationship with the coaches. “I’m looking at majoring in enviromental engineering or bio-medical engineering.”

The depth chart and his relationship with the coaches will play a big role in his decision. “I have very good relationships with the coaches but I feel comfortable with some more than others.” Joshua preferred to leave it at that.

Thomas will be looking at the depth charts to see what running backs each school has and how he fits into their offensive schemes. “That will be important to me."

Missouri is looking A.T. Thomas on the defensive side of the ball while Tech and Tennessee like him as a running back. "I love running the ball and would rather be on offense than defense."

The next visit for Joshua will be to Tennessee for their game with Florida on October 4th. Thomas also plans to attend the Georgia Tech-Clemson game in November. “I know Tech is just down the road. I can visit there very easily for any game.” Thomas was at Tech’s recent game with Georgia Southern.

Joshua is sticking with his original plan to make his decision later in his senior season. “This way I can gauge each team better and really see which one wants me the most.”

Thomas will use this time to get to know the coaching staffs better. “I really value a close relationship with my coaching staff.” Joshua feels that as he gets to the latter part of his season, he should have all the information he needs to make his decision. Top Stories
