Profile - Christian Campbell
Ponchatoula, Louisiana quarterback Christian Campbell made the trip to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech-Miami game. Campbell wanted to get a feel for the home game atmosphere after seeing Tech play at Tulane.
The atmosphere that the Georgia Tech commit witnessed wasn’t something that he expected. “I knew from the Tulane game that Georgia Tech had some great fans but this was something I will not forget. The game rivaled anything LSU can do.”
Electrifying was a word Christian used to describe the crowd. Christian stayed for the whole game and visited the locker room following the game. ”This visit was great. It was awesome to see the fans, the team, and the coaches all dialed in for this game."
Christian made the trip to Atlanta with his coach. He caught up with fellow Louisiana recruit Brandon Singleton. They talked about their future at Tech. “We are excited to be a part of this family.”
The game was the highlight of the trip for Christian. He enjoyed the excitement and the game experience. “A night game at Tech is something that you'll always remember."
Campbell also met some of the other Tech commits besides Singleton. Coach Bryan Cook introduced him to his future teammates. Getting to go out on the field before the game was another part of the game experience that Christian enjoyed.
The visit only reinforced what Christian has felt from day one. “I’ve been locked down as a commit to Georgia Tech since the day I committed.” Campbell saw that Tech had everything he wanted in a school. Being able to live in Atlanta was an added plus.
Campbell’s coach and his wife also enjoyed the trip. “They loved it as much as I did. My coach said that I made an excellent choice."
Look for Christian to return to Tech for his official visit in January. “Signing day will be just around the corner from that visit and it will be official."
