Victor Alexander watched Georgia Tech play for the second time in three weeks. Alexander watched Tech beat Virginia Tech and Victor also attended the recent Duke game. The loss to Duke didn't dampen his enthusiasm for Georgia Tech.

Jacksonville, Florida Trinity Christian linebacker Victor Alexander returned to Atlanta to watch Georgia Tech play for the second time this season. Alexander watched the Jackets play Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia earlier this season.

“I had a great time in Atlanta” Alexander was impressed by the crowd and was able to catch up with his friend and current Tech player Antonio Simmons.

Simmons and Victor talked about their times together at Trinity Christian and how good Antonio's little brother is doing at Trinity Christian too. Antonio also got in a little recruiting with Victor. “Antonio talked about how much he likes it up at Tech and that he wishes I would come there so we can be teammates once again.”

Alexander had a chance to meet with most of the Tech coaches on his visit to Atlanta. “The coaches told me how much they want me to be a part of the team. They also told me that my play can make their defense better along with the talent they have coming in with this class.” Those words got Victor’s attention.

Alexander recently named a top four but it now looks like it may be a two school race. Victor has named Tech as one of those two schools. “They are in the top two that I know. Sometimes they are number one and sometimes they are number two. I go back and forth with them and UCLA.” The other two schools rounding out his top four are Utah and Virginia Tech.

An official visit to UCLA will take place in November for Victor. A return visit to Tech for his official visit hasn’t been finalized. “Coach (Lamar) Owens and I talked about coming up in October for an official or I could wait until after the Clemson game which I plan on making.” Victor likes the idea of getting together with the other Tech recruits for the Clemson game.

A decision near the end of his senior season is still in the works for Alexander. Top Stories
