Carney and his team had a bye week enabling he and his mom to arrive in Atlanta in time to visit the city and take in the sights. “We actually liked the city and all the things that you can do in Atlanta."

Cade had a busy schedule on game day. He met with Coach Bryan Cook and Coach Brad Waggoner. Cade talked with Coach Cook about the B Back position. “He told me to watch Laskey to see how they use the B Back.” Carney liked how Tech used the B Back.

Cade views the B Back position as a prestigious one. "I would feel honored to play it. It’s the focal point of their offense.”

Coach Waggoner talked with Cade about their recruiting plans for the B Back position. Tech has identified a group of players they like at that position. Carney is one that they would like to add to the 2016 class. The two also talked about upgrading the facilities to help the players improve. “I like that part very much."

The coaches talked to Cade about returning for another game. The Clemson game is a possibility. “I know a lot of commits and other recruits will be there.” Cade has also been invited for a recruit weekend after the season. “To be honest I will probably do both." Cade may also see Tech play on the road against North Carolina and North Carolina State.

There are four schools that are getting Cade’s attention. "Georgia Tech and Wake Forest are probably the top two schools recruiting me.” North Carolina State and East Carolina are also in the picture for Carney.

The Georgia Tech coaching staff is the main thing that has gotten Cade’s attention during his recruitment. “The school’s coaching staff is probably the top thing for me in choosing a school.” Top Stories
