Profile - Quaide Weimerskirch
Pace, Florida running back Quaide Weimerskirch is the most recent commit for Georgia Tech. Quaide will now be enrolling early at Tech. Quaide is looking forward to the opportunity to practice with the team in the spring and the chance to compete for the B Back job.
“I've signed everything and it is just a matter of me finishing my last bit of high school and then getting moved in at Georgia Tech." Weimerskirch plans to room with fellow early enrollee Will Bryan.
While Quaide is excited to get the early start, his mom is both excited and sad to see him leave early. “We are a close family and it will be hard for her to see me away from home for the first time.”
Quaide’s family will be supporting him next season by attending all the games. Quaide’s dad works for Southwest Airlines which will enable them to get to all the games.
Weimerskirch will begin school on January 6th. Prior to enrolling in January, Quaide will be taking his official visit in December. The coaches have given him a few possible dates in December. “I will be getting with the coaches to set a date for my official visit."
Quaide has stayed in touch with the Tech coaches since his commitment and he plans to be in Atlanta for the Clemson game. “I’m really looking forward to that."
Quaide has watched some of the Tech games on TV this season and likes how they’ve progressed from the start of the season. Tech’s offensive line has caught Quaide’s attention. "Their offensive line is good. I love being able to run behind a talented offensive line.”
Now that his senior season is over, Quaide will be concentrating on getting ready for the next step in his football and academic careers.
