Coach Pelton talked to Kyle about his official visit itinerary for this weekend. They also talked about what Kyle could expect when he arrives on campus in January. “It’s hard to believe that I have less than a month to go before I’m a member of the Georgia Tech football team and a college student as well.”

Henderson and Coach Pelton also talked about the ACCCG. "I’m sad we lost but I do know it took Florida State's best played game of the year to beat us.” Henderson feels that next season that Tech will be a team to watch.

Although dreams of playing pro ball are nice, Kyle is only focused on playing college ball and getting a quality education. He is even thinking ahead about also getting his masters degree at Tech. “I know the value of a great education and Tech has one of the best around."

Henderson hopes to make the best of his early enrollment. Watching early enrollee KeShun Freeman gave Kyle a glimpse of what is possible. “I want to have the opportunity to show the coaches as many times as I can that I can also do it.” Kyle feels he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a head start on his education as well as his football career by taking part in spring practice.

Kyle and his mom plan to arrive early in Atlanta to spend some time with his grandmother. “I know it will be tough for mom to let me go and I think this will help us all in making that adjustment.”

Henderson will also be leaving his high school classmates behind. Kyle has even thought about going back in the spring to graduate with them. “I know as you get older you forge new friendships, but you still want to finish up things with your friends and not just leave and never see them again.”
