The offer from Tech came as a surprise to Keyshon. “I can tell you that I’m glad that I have one now.” Camp has interest in Tech knowing that they play good football and the coaches have a reputation for playing the best players regardless of their class.

Coach Pelton let Camp’s coaches know that they were impressed with his film. “They feel that I can come in and get early playing time.” The Tech coaches like Keyshon’s aggressive style of play and they feel he has the frame to play defensive tackle.

Keyshon feels that he’s strength is stopping the run. “My coach says I have a great ability at predicting the blocking scheme at the snap.” Camp is looking to improve using his hands and staying low.

Camp was invited to attend Tech’s Junior Day. "I would really like to do that and if I can't, I’ll come up for a camp in the summer.” Keyshon is looking forward to getting to know the school, coaches, and players.

The only other visit that Camp has planned will be to Miami for their Junior Day on January 25th. Growing up, Keyshon was a Miami fan. He also holds a Miami offer. I’m open to all schools. I know a lot of recruits that had childhood favorites but didn't play for that school."

The offer from Georgia Tech brings Camp’s offer total to five. "I have offers from Georgia Tech, Miami, Duke, Northwestern, and Iowa State."

Thus far, Camp has enjoyed the recruiting process. He especially likes meeting the coaches and seeing new schools. Keyshon has already learned a lot from the process. “I’m using it as a learning experience that only comes around once.” Top Stories
