Profile - Omarhi Jarrett
Jarrett was hosted on the trip by redshirt senior A Back Charles Perkins. “He has such a great personality and attitude towards Georgia Tech and all that they have done for him.” Jarrett knew that he had made the right decision after spending time with Perkins.
Omahri made the trip was his step-dad, mom, and his sister. Jarrett enjoyed spending time with the players and recruits. “The seniors on the team really wanted us to carry on the feeling that the players have for one another and that’s something that all of the recruits liked hearing."
The visits to the College Hall of Fame, Atlantic Station, and corporate headquarters around Atlanta highlighted the trip for Omahri.
Getting in some film work was also on the agenda for Jarrett. Jarrett watched film with Coach Lamar Owens and fellow A Back recruits TaQuon Marshall and Kirvonte Benson. All three were shown what to expect when they enroll this summer. “I know we have some big shoes to fill but I am looking forward to that challenge.” Omahri will be getting workout instructions from Tech once he signs his LOI.
Jarrett’s family also enjoyed everything about the visit. Even Omahri’s sister, who plans on attending Clemson, enjoyed the visit. “If she goes there, I have bragging rights for this year."
Next for Jarrett will be the signing day ceremony at his school. The school plans to have a big ceremony for Jarrett. “My high school is relatively new and I’m the first to sign a LOI to a major school. They really want to do it up right. I didn't know that and it does give me a good feeling inside."
