The visit allowed Brentavious and his family to re-acquaint themselves with some friends and meet some players they hadn’t met before. Glanton was excited that Tech added two more members to the class on his visit. “I know we’ll have some expectations put on us but I feel we will carry on what the others started."

Glanton likes what the city of Atlanta offers. He had a chance to see some of those things on his visit. “That is something that makes Georgia Tech even more appealing to me and many other recruits. That, and the fact that you get a great education and still play football at the highest level.”

The highlight of the trip for Glanton was seeing how everyone got along. “We are a big happy family and it’s not for show.”

Coaches Mike Pelton and Ted Roof spent time with Glanton as did Coach Paul Johnson. “They want me to work on my strength, conditioning, and putting on muscle weight gain.” Glanton currently weighs 270. The Tech coaches are looking for both Glanton and Kyle Henderson to see the field this coming season. “They want both of us to be ready.”

Glanton got to meet and spend some time with J.J. Green, Will Bryan, Pat Gamble on the visit. He also got re-acquainted with Shaq Mason. “I wish I had a chance to play with Shaq. He’s a really great guy.” Early enrollees Henderson and Bryan and transfer Green let Glanton know that they love it at Tech. Look for Brentavious to put on Shawn Green’s number 97 this coming season. “I wanted 53 but my buddy Bryan Chamberlain has that number.” Top Stories
