The latest offer for Smith comes from Michigan which smith said was a good visit. Several schools plan to visit Scotland to watch Smith’s spring practice before deciding on whether or not to offer Jonathan. Smith is ready to show those schools what he can do.

Smith has a list of four schools that he feels are recruiting him harder than the others. “Georgia Tech, Duke, North Carolina, and Michigan are the ones I hear from the most.

Jonathan has kept in touch with Georgia Tech Coach Bryan Cook. Coach Cook invited Smith to Tech’s spring practices as well as the spring game on April 17th. “I’m going to go to the spring game with my parents."

Smith's former teammate and Tech signee Jaylend Ratliffe will be enrolling at Tech in January and would be in the same class as Smith if Smith decided to commit to Tech which Jonathon says that is a very good thing for Tech. “Jaylend and I are good friends and the fact that he will be at Tech is something that I will consider in making my decision.”

Several schools will be receiving visits from Smith this spring. He’ll be visiting Georgia for their Junior Day on March 28th. “It will interesting to see what happens when I get there.” Jonathan also plans to visit Michigan and Ohio State.

An offer from Georgia would put them on Smith’s official visit list. “I know I want to take official visits Georgia Tech, Duke, North Carolina, and possibly Michigan.” Jonathan would like to make his decision before his senior season but he knows that might change.

Smith is still having fun with his recruitment. “As long it stays the way it is now, I will be okay with how I’m handling it and enjoy it."
