Byrum met with Georgia Tech Coach Mike Sewak and then watched the scrimmage. “It was good to watch the offensive line work in the scrimmage.” Coach Sewak let Bailey know that he liked his film and he invited him to come back for Tech’s summer camp.

Before returning to Tech, Bailey will be sending Coach Sewak some film from his spring practice. Coach Sewak also plans to watch Bailey at one of his spring practices. “I got a good feeling from this visit.”

Bailey feels that once Tech sees more of his film and watches him in person that he may be receiving an offer. Bailey hopes to return to Tech for another practice or for the spring game. ”I know I’m excited that Coach Sewak will be coming to see me work in person.”

A decision on whether or not to attend the Tech summer camp has not been made yet. “It is very possible that I will be attending their camp.”

Trips to Jacksonville State, Memphis, and Vanderbilt have already taken place. Bailey described the visits as good and said they were learning experiences. Bailey hasn’t decided on any other visits at this time. Rutgers could be a possibility as they are beginning to show interest in Byrum.

As he moves forward with his recruitment, Byrum knows that he has the support of his parents in making any visits needed as he continues to look for his future home. Top Stories
