Mosely planning visits

St. Anthony’s, New Jersey 6’3” combo guard Jagan Mosely and his New Jersey Playaz AAU team got off to a good start in the first weekend of the NCAA evaluation period. A strong performance in the four game weekend also led to another offer for Jagan.

Offer number nine for Jagan comes from Georgia Tech. “I’m blessed to get these offers and it makes me feel good that my hard work has paid off with the offers.” Jagan plans to continue improving in hopes of making an impact as a college freshman.

Jagan has been hearing from Tech coaches Brian Gregory and Tom Herrion. Both coaches let Mosely know that he has a chance to be that impact player. “That was a great feeling when I heard that.”

Mosely feels that Tech will be a major player in his recruitment. Jagan likes that Tech plays in what he feels is the best conference in college basketball. “I love the academics at Georgia Tech and to be honest, I really like the weather down there. It would be great to live in the South.” Jagan will be looking for a school with a strong business major.

A visit to Tech is something that Jagan hopes to set up. He’ll be visiting Louisville and Princeton later this month. “Most of my visits will be in May and June.”

Jagan doesn’t see himself as a one and done player. “I can learn a lot on the court in college before I turn pro.” Jagan plays for a great high school coach in Bob Hurley and is getting good coaching on the AAU circuit. “Once I get to college, I can learn even more there."

Coach Gregory and Coach Herrion like Mosely as a combo guard. Jagan likes the possibility of playing both guard positions. “I’m a team first player and have no problem playing either guard position.” Top Stories
