Reeves adds two ACC offers

Eagle’s Landing Christian (GA) offensive lineman Chandler Reeves took advantage of two recent camp visits to pick up offers following his performances at those camps. Chandler now plans to make return visits to both of those schools.

Sunday June 7th Chandler camped at nearby Georgia Tech. The visit earned Chandler an offer from Coach Paul Johnson. “That was a big offer for me.” The coaches let Chandler know that they were impressed with his performance in the drills as well as when he was going full speed."

Following his visit to Tech, Chandler traveled to Clemson on Tuesday for their camp. “Their coaches told me I was a target and offered me a scholarship.”

The two offers from Tech and Clemson brings Chandler’s offer total close to 20. "I'm not really keeping up with how many offers I have but I do feel honored to get as many as I have.”

With the camp offers in hand, Chandler will be returning to both schools within the next few days. Reeves is returning to Clemson this weekend with his mom and he’ll be at Tech on Monday. “I am returning to Tech to talk to the coaches and get more acquainted with the players and the school.”

Chandler is not ready to cut down his list of offers but the two latest ones stand out to him. “I think Coach Johnson is a great coach and Coach (Dabo) Swinney has Clemson going well. I think Coach Johnson has Georgia Tech a little more established.”

Reeves will be looking for a school where he can thrive spiritually and he is looking for a good business school. Coach Johnson talked to Chandler about the Tech business school and he met Tech chaplain Derek Moore. “He is a tremendous motivator.”

A decision on a school may not be far away far away for Chandler. “I want to be settled in and make a decision by the end of the summer." Top Stories
