While Cole has a top two a third school is still a possibility. "My top two schools are Georgia Tech and Kansas State. The other team hanging on with me is Iowa.” Cutting his list was not easy for Jarett but he wants to reach a decision before August 22nd.

Cole let us know what he likes about the two schools. Georgia Tech – “I really love that Tech has improved to the point where they are a top 10 team. They beat two very good SEC schools. That is something that most schools cannot say about their program. I like Coach (Ted) Roof a lot and he kept it real with me.”

“They tell me they want me as a safety or nickel back. I like playing the slot receiver as well as playing the run. They have confidence in me playing that position.” Location is also a positive for Tech. “My family can see me play.”

Kansas State – “My brother plays there and one of my teammates is being recruited hard by them. They play in a Power 5 conference. Like Tech they have great coaches. Coach (Bill) Snyder is like Coach (Paul) Johnson. Kansas State was one of the first schools to offer me.”

Jarett plans to visit Georgia Tech this week to talk to Coach Roof. It is possible that Cole could reach a decision on his visit. “Coach Roof has been recruiting me hard and I really like him.”

If Cole doesn’t commit on his visit to Tech, he plans to take an official visit to each of the two schools. “I’ll be looking to see which school has the best intentions for me on and off the field.” Jarett will also be looking for the school that can give him the best degree.

Jarett will look to his dad for advice in making the decision. “In the end, it will be my decision.” Top Stories
