Profile - P.J. Hall
Hall made the trip on I20 to Atlanta to watch Georgia Tech play North Carolina. “I really liked it despite the loss.” P.J. enjoyed the visit much more than his previous visit to watch Tech play Tulane. The crowd and the excitement of the game made this visit more enjoyable for Hall.
The visit for Hall included seeing all the football facilities. “I love their facilities.” P.J. hopes to major in one of the engineering fields. He had a chance to see where Tech ranks in engineering. “I know Tech is one of the best in the country.” Seeing how Coach Johnson sees that his players graduate and helps connect them with major companies is a plus for Hall.
“I like that I could come in and get playing time right away.” Getting a meaningful degree and always having something to do on campus or in Atlanta are also positives for Hall. The short drive to Atlanta would be a positive for his parents.
P.J. has kept in touch with his Tech recruiting Coach Mike Pelton as well as his position coach Joe Speed and defensive coordinator Ted Roof.
Hall is aware that Tech loses all four starters in the secondary after the 2015 season. “They have told me that if I come to Tech and worked hard, I could see playing time in the secondary or on special teams.”
The coaches have asked Hall for his transcripts and mid-season highlights. “I feel that an offer is coming my way.” An offer from Tech would put them at the top of Hall’s list.
Hall likes Tech enough that an offer could lead to a commit. “Coach Pelton has made a great impression on my mom and my whole family.”
P.J. is looking to making a decision sometime during his senior season.
