Finley and his teammates will play Tate, a team they beat earlier this year, this weekend. A win over Tate and they will be two wins away from the state title. “That would be a great going away present for us seniors.”

Romeo has cut his list to five schools. “The five schools are Georgia Tech, Clemson, Louisville, Florida, and Auburn.” Romeo plans to be at the Florida game with Florida State this weekend. “Florida is close and it is the best choice for me travel wise. It should be a great game."

Finley has kept in touch with Georgia Tech Coach Ted Roof. “I am very close to Coach Roof.” Romeo feels that Tech is the one school out of the top five that is recruiting him the hardest. Tech’s entire secondary will be playing their final game this weekend against Georgia. “I know that I am very interested in them and they will be there until the very end when I finally decide on a school.”

At the present time, Romeo has only set up one official visit. “I’ll be at Georgia Tech January 15th.” Finley may also visit Clemson before his Georgia Tech visit. “We haven’t set up a date yet.” Romeo had also hoped to take official visits to Auburn, Florida, and Louisville but they haven’t talked about dates.

“It is my intention but sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them to. We’ll see after my season is over.”

Romeo has not decided on a definite decision date. “I might decide in late January or on the Sunday before signing day. I just don’t know at this time. Top Stories
