Yuat let us know that he has gained offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, and Texas. More offers are expected to come his way as his senior season progresses.

With his dream of playing college ball in the states, Alok has been concentrating on his senior season rather than scheduling visits to the schools showing him interest. “I’ve only been in the country for a few months. I’m personally still getting used to how things are done here in the U.S.A.”

Since coming to the States, Yuat has kept in touch with Georgia Tech assistant coach Mamadou N’Diaye. The two have talked about Yuat’s basketball goals both on and off the court.  “He told me how he could help me reach those goals.” Georgia Tech will be losing three post players following the 2015/16 season. Alok feels that this will give him a chance to come in and gain playing time as a freshman.

Once he begins taking visits, Yuat will be looking for a new home. “I'm far away from home so I want to go to where I feel more like home.” Yuat will also be looking for a school that will best develop him as a player. “I want to go to an environment where the coaches are always willing to push me every day”.

A date to make his college choice has not been thought about at this time. Yuat is taking his time in making the important college choice. Will he take all of his official visits before making that choice? “Hopefully I’ll be able to do that.” Look for Yuat to begin taking those visits following his senior season.
