Wright set for visit to Tech

William G. Enloe High School, N.C. forward Moses Wright is moving closer to making his college decision. This coming weekend, Wright will be taking an official visit to one of the schools on his final list.

Georgia Tech is the destination for the Wright official visit. Moses is scheduled to arrive on campus Saturday. “I was at Georgia Tech on February 28th for an unofficial visit and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to come back for an official visit to learn everything about the school.” Moses is looking forward to learning more about the academics, the campus, and things to do around the school. “I also be looking to learn more about the basketball program.”

When he is introduced to the Tech academics, Moses will be looking to learn more about the business school. His goal has always been to use basketball to pay for his college education. “If you ask me the biggest factor in choosing a school will be the academics. If they have the degree I want, then basketball will follow along.”

Moses was impressed with what he saw from the team when he watched them play on his unofficial visit. “I love how Coach (Josh) Pastner runs the offense through Ben Lammers. I liked the way he played.” Moses has played in a similar offense in high school. “I loved the atmosphere at the game. The fans were great and you could really see the players respond to the coaching staff.” Moses was also impressed with what he saw from the assistant coaches. Moses would be a stretch forward or a wing in the Tech offense.

Wright will not be a one and done type player. “I will be going to school for all four years as I plan on getting my degree. That is the most important thing.”

In addition to picking up an offer from Tech in early March, Moses has added offers from Charlotte and Kansas State.

Moses is not in any rush to make his college choice. “I have some time to make the right choice. That is why I scheduled the official to Georgia Tech.” Moses wants to get more info on each school in order to make the best decision possible. “I’m not sure of the exact time or date but it will be after the Tech visit.”
